Segev-Magen Technologies Ltd. and Segev-Magen Technologies Inc. (collectively “Profero”) operate https://profero.io/. This Privacy Policy describes practices regarding information collection, usage, and user rights. It supplements the Website Terms of Use.

Users must accept this Privacy Policy before accessing the Website. By accessing the Website, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Privacy Policy, including the collection and processing of your personal information. Users provide personal information voluntarily and acknowledge Profero may collect and use it per this policy and applicable laws.
2. What Types of Information Do You Collect?
Non-Personal Information: Technical and aggregated usage data not linked to identifiable individuals, including operating system details, browser information, smartphone version, usage duration, click-stream activity, and keyboard language.
Personal Information: Information identifying individuals or enabling identification with reasonable effort, including IP addresses, device identifiers, contact details from forms, and employment application information. Anonymized or aggregated information is excluded.
We do not collect any Personal Information from you or related to you without your approval, which is obtained, inter alia, through your acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

5. What Are Your Legal Grounds for Collecting My Personal Information?
With Your Consent: Users agree to information processing for stated purposes with withdrawal rights.
Legitimate Interests: Information is processed for purposes including detecting, preventing or otherwise addressing fraud, abuse, security, usability, functionality or technical issues with our Website, protecting rights and safety, enforcing legal claims, and fulfilling legal obligations.
6. Who Do You Share My Information With and Why?
Internally: Information shared with family companies and employees on a need-to-know basis. During mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales, information may be shared under strict security conditions with prominent user notification if materially affected.
Protecting Rights and Safety: Information may be shared to enforce policies, detect fraud, address security issues, or protect user and public safety.
Third Parties & Business Partners: Selected service providers facilitating Website functionality and analytics (including Google Analytics) act as sub-processors under company instructions. Profero remains responsible for third-party processing except for events beyond reasonable control.
Law Enforcement: Information may be disclosed to government and law enforcement as we believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect our or a third party’s property and legal rights.
Anonymized or de-identified information may be shared with any third party at sole discretion.
7. Where Do You Transfer or Store My Information?
Information may be transferred, maintained, processed, and stored in the EU, US, and Israel. US and Israeli privacy laws may be less comprehensive than other jurisdictions.
GDPR (EEA Users): Profero complies with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. Personal information transfers from home countries to Israel or elsewhere require appropriate safeguards and enforceable data subject rights. Transfers comply through:
- Determination by EU Commission of adequate protection in destination country
- Application of Standard Contractual Clauses where appropriate

Rights may vary by jurisdiction and include:
Right of Access: Users may know what information Profero holds and receive communication of such information. We reserve the right to ask for reasonable evidence to verify your identity before we provide you with any information.
Right to Correct: Users may request correction of inaccurate information held by Profero.
Data Deletion: Users may request deletion or anonymization of personal information in some circumstances.
Data Portability: Users may request provided data for transfer to another data controller.
Restriction of Processing: Users may request processing restrictions when disputing information accuracy.

9. Do You Use Cookies or Similar Tracking Technologies?
Profero uses monitoring and tracking technologies for maintaining services, improving experience, tracking preferences, securing services through abnormal behavior detection, identifying technical issues, and creating analytics.

Opt-Out Options: Users may delete or block tracking through browser help sections or third-party opt-out mechanisms at www.youronlinechoices.eu or www.aboutads.info/choices. Please note however that deleting any of our tracking technologies or disabling future tracking technologies may prevent you from accessing certain areas or features of our Services, or may otherwise adversely affect your user experience.
10. How Do You Keep My Information Secure?
Profero implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards preventing unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Information is stored on secure servers with limited employee and third-party access on a need-to-know basis.
Despite these measures, Profero cannot provide absolute information security or eliminate all risks associated with Personal Information, and security breaches may happen. Security inquiries should contact contact@profero.io.
11. How Long Will You Retain My Information?
Personal information is retained only as necessary for collection and processing purposes. Retention periods consider information type, collection purpose, applicable requirements, and timely destruction of outdated data. If you withdraw your consent to our processing your Personal Information, we will delete your Personal Information from our systems (except to the extent retaining such data in whole or in part is necessary to comply with any applicable rule or regulation and/or to respond to or defend against legal proceedings brought against us or our affiliates).
12. How Do You Protect the Privacy of Children?
Website users must be over eighteen years old. Profero does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under eighteen. Age verification may be requested, and inquiries about minors’ information should contact contact@profero.io.
13. How Do You Use the Information of Job Candidates?
Candidates may apply to open positions by submitting contact details and CV/resume (“Candidate Information”). This information is kept private and used solely for our internal recruitment purposes (including for identifying Candidates, evaluating their applications, making hiring and employment decisions, and contacting Candidates by phone or in writing).
Candidate information may be retained after position closure for reconsidering candidates for other positions, reference purposes, and employment-related needs if hired. Candidates may access, update, or delete their information by contacting contact@profero.io.
14. Updates to This Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy is subject to changes at Profero’s discretion. The most current version is posted with a “Last Updated” heading. By continuing to access and use our Website after any updates become effective, you accept and agree to be bound by the updated Privacy Policy.
15. General Information
The Privacy Policy and related claims are governed by Israeli law without conflict-of-law principles. Claims are litigated exclusively in Tel Aviv, Israel courts.
