Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of key IT systems, including third-party providers and hosted virtualization systems.
  • Deliver outstanding day-to-day IT support to various teams across the organization and provide both inbound and outbound support to the company product.
  • Oversee the management of company devices, including inventory, implementation of Mobile Device Management (MDM) strategies, automatic software updates, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain and operate a datacenter with 100+ virtual machines (VMs).
  • Continuously improve observability for all systems, including collecting data and building dashboards.
  • Monitor IT & security systems for smooth operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide innovative solutions for non-standard situations.
  • Diagnose reported technical issues and prioritize them based on urgency, escalating complex problems to relevant departments when necessary.
  • Support servers and cloud solutions, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations for various cloud platforms and applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline IT processes.
  • Create knowledge base articles and documentation on implemented solutions and system configurations.
  • Manage initial provisioning of IT systems, including laptops and IT equipment, providing ongoing support.
  • Participate in periodic on-call shifts as part of team rotation.

Skills

  • Experience managing IT systems such as Office 365, JumpCloud, and Azure Active Directory (AzureAD).
  • Working knowledge of Windows/Windows Server and Mac OS.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere.
  • Experience with network appliances such as opnSense, pfSense, or similar.
  • A proactive self-learner with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
